Evangelist Gladys Barnes, is truly a woman after God’s own heart. She has a sincere heart for prayer and is a testimony that there is power in prayer. She carries a burden for the lost and desire that all would come into the saving knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Evangelist Gladys P. Barnes, was the Director of Intercessory Prayer for Mt. Pleasant Church from 2004 to 2011.
Evangelist Gladys Barnes, accepted the call of God to do the work of an Evangelist on September 1, 2001. She was licensed and ordained under the overseership of the Late Bishop Anthony C. Barnes, Mt. Pleasant Church, Duck Hill, Mississippi.
She was married to the Late Charles Ray Barnes of Sartaria, Mississippi. She is a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She currently resides in Bakersfield, California where she is a valued member of BBM and a committed intercessor on the Prayer and Intercessory Team for Bridgett Barnes Ministries, Bakersfield, California.
