Apostle Bridgett Barnes
Bio
Bridgett Barnes was born into the religion of Jehovah's Witnesses but disassociated herself from that upbringing at the age of 15. At 28, she gave her life to Christ and received Him as her Savior and Lord. In 2003, Bridgett was licensed as a minister by the late Bishop A.C. Barnes, Mt. Pleasant Church, Duck Hill, MS. She was ordained as a Prophetess in 2010 and in 2023 she was affirmed as an Apostle by Apostle Linda Sweezer, House of Peace Vicksburg and Rolling Fork, MS, and Atlanta, Georgia.
Apostle Barnes received her bachelor's degree in Sociology with an emphasis in Human Services from California State University Bakersfield. She is a certified Leadership Coach from Lifeforming Leadership Coaching, Virginia Beach, VA. She is the founder of Bridgett Barnes Ministries and the Apostolic and Prophetic Leader of Mastering Life God's Way Equipping Ministries, Inc., Bakersfield, California.
She is passionate about challenging the Body of Christ to continue to grow, mature and develop a delight in the Word of God. Her heart is that we all come to embrace the transformative and perfect work of the Holy Spirit in our lives as we continue to pursue a personal and intimate relationship with the Lord.
She currently resides in Bakersfield, California with her husband Coach Rod Barnes and two of their three adult sons.
